CustomerID
The CustomerID is a value that the merchant can use to records a unique identifier for their customer. The shopping cart does not use this value. We simply store it and send it back to the merchant under certain circumstances.
A custom CustomerID can be sent using a CustomerID hidden tag in any cart button eg
